Four years ago, we fell in love with Georgian Bay and we continue to learn about the need to protect this area. This is why at Little Beausoleil Candle Co., we donate a portion of our proceeds to the Georgian Bay Land Trust – a not-for-profit registered charity supported by people who love and want to protect the wilderness of Georgian Bay for current and future generations. Their goal is to preserve the land and waters of eastern Georgian Bay and the North Channel of Lake Huron. This area is home to the world’s largest freshwater archipelago, boasting more than 30,000 islands. A UNESCO designated World Biosphere Reserve, the region supports an incredible diversity of plant and wildlife and is core habitat for many endangered and at-risk species. Through preservation and stewardship, they promote appreciation and protection of this unique area for future generations.

We are proud to be sending another quarterly donation to GBLT and want to thank our retail partners and all of you who have purchased one of our candles. Together we are making a difference in helping the environment as well as supporting small businesses – two causes close to our hearts. Thank you!
